Hello. my friends!  Welcome to my blog and thank you for visiting J. Liu Restaurant and Bar.   My dream to create a dining experience that provides something for everyone has come true.  I am so grateful for the opportunity to daily serve friends - old and new at J. Liu Restaurant & Bar.   "Something for everyone" means offering delicious appetizers, home made soups, hand tossed salads, favorite sandwiches, suculent steaks, fresh seafood, authenic Asian,  popular Italian dishes and of course fine wines from all over the world.

When I decided to begin my journey as an entreprenuer, the restaurant business became my passion.  My wife and I worked hard every day side by side in an Asian restaurant for 13 years, 7 days a week, trying to obtain the American Dream by learning all we could through hard work and a relentless desire to succeed.  In 2004, our first location for J. Liu Restaurant & Bar was created in historic Dublin, Ohio at 50 West Bridge St..  The public acceptance overwhelmed us which demanded we build an addition after one year because of our original limited seating space.

In 2008, a second J. Liu Restaurant & Bar was built in charming Worthington, Ohio at 6880 North High St.  People say some of their most favorite features at Worthington are our beautiful second story grand banquet room with a one of a kind arched ceiling and bountiful windows, which made their special occassions a most memorable event!   Our exterior terrace is also very inviting.

Check out our signature curved wall fish tank the next time you visit!

Re: Thank you!

We discovered your establishment when my son moved to Dublin, 2 yrs ago. We drove by, saw the outdoor patio and said that looks like a cool spot. We have visited many times and always sit on that patio. Even once when it was so windy we had to hold on to our umbrella! We will be joining you for Easter dinner this year! So glad to have found your retaurant!

Re: Thank you!

We first tried your restaurent in February with 10 people some of which were children. I have to say that it was one of the most wonderful experiences I have had in recent times. The service was fantastic, the food, the choices were so great that everyone even the kids found something they liked. As for quality and quantity you cannot beat
your restaurent. We have been back several times and thoroughly enjoyed each visit. Our most recent was last Friday where our server Rachel was great. We will be seeing
you soon. Oh by the way, we live 80 miles north of Columbus. thanks again for a wonderful dinning experience.

I would like to thank you for the resturant. My friends and I are glad you've set up shop in Worthington. My friends and I dined last night and everyone from the manager to the wait staff were OUTSTANDING... The people definately will bring us back along with the food!
Thank you.

Re: Thank you!

Jason, hello. I was reviewing your website, sent you an inquiry about an office christmas party in your banquet room, and found that you had a blog. Truthfully, this is my first time on a blog, ever. What intrigued me was your story getting into the restaurant business. Engineer or doctor sounds like more income, less hours, and more family time. However, it sounds like we have something in common. It's not about the money. Surrounding yourself with friendly and successful people is what makes you and I tick. I sell insurance. It's not what I sell or the money I make, it's the people I meet, relationships I build and taking care of them in time of need is what puts a smile on my face. Glad to see you put a location in Worthington. My office is two buildings north of you. Best of luck and hope to meet you.
